The problem with filters alone
A filter only catches what happens to pass through it.
Traditional passive technologies such as HEPA use filtration or electrostatic systems, which remove contaminants only if and when they travel through the unit. They don't reduce surface contamination at all.

Will it work with my system?
It installs directly into your home's HVAC system. When you claim the offer, we'll call to confirm your home's compatibility before scheduling.
How long does installation take?
Installation typically takes less than an hour, with very little disruption.
What maintenance does it need?
There are no filters to change. You or one of our technicians can replace the ActivePure cell about every 1–2 years, or have it checked during your regular HVAC tune-up. Approximate maintenance cost is $200–$300 every 1–2 years.
Does it produce ozone?
According to the manufacturer's testing, ActivePure® creates only minuscule amounts of ozone, over one thousand times lower than EPA safeguard levels, and it actually lowers naturally occurring ozone.
Is it safe for kids and pets?
The manufacturer states the oxidizers ActivePure® produces are not harmful to humans, pets, or plants and are safe for indoor use. Its hydrogen peroxide output (0.02–0.04 ppm) is well below the 1.0 ppm OSHA considers safe throughout the day.
How is this different from a HEPA filter?
HEPA and electrostatic systems only remove contaminants that travel through the unit, and they don't reduce surface contamination. ActivePure® actively targets contaminants in the air and on surfaces.
